Cairo

Luxor

Luxor, on the site of ancient Thebes, is often called the world's greatest open air museum, where more than 5,000 years of history are laid out in all their glory. Highlights include the magnificent Karnak Temple complex, with its monuments to Ramses II and the god Amun-Ra. Across the River Nile, visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, and, of course, the Valley of the Kings where tombs were constructed for the pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom.

Petra

Across the Red Sea in Jordan lies the lost city of Petra. This ancient city was a key trading point on the spice trading routes. It was carved out of rose pink rock in virtually inaccessible mountains between 800BC and 100AD. As the spice caravans dwindled, so did city's fortunes, and it was lost for hundreds of years. Rediscover it on this trip, as you walk the narrow winding gorge that opens suddenly to reveal the famous treasury building, carved directly into the rock itself. Price includes border taxes.

Jerusalem

Jerusalem is home to key sites for many major religions: the Temple Mount and its Western Wall for Jews, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for Christians and the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque for Muslims. Changes to timings and itineraries

Timing and itineraries are subject to change and in extreme cases cancellation, for instance, owing to adverse weather conditions. If we hear of any changes before you leave, we'll let you know. Should the excursion be cancelled, your deposit will be refunded in full.

When making an excursion/activity booking, you accept that you are entering into a contract directly between the supplier of the excursion/ activity and yourself. The excursion/activity providers' terms and conditions will apply. Confirmation of the Excursion will appear on your confirmation invoice. If you decide to cancel your booking, then you may be liable for the full cost of the excursion /activity booked. This will be up to your excursion provider. The balance of the excursion price must be paid in resort. Note that overseas payments by credit/debit card may incur currency and transaction charges.
