Exclusive to Red Sea Holidays in the UKRed Sea Hotels is a leading Egyptian-based hotel chain, offering consistently high standards of accommodation and service in excellent locations. Grand Cruises operates a fleet of modern and luxurious Nile cruise ships. We are the exclusive UK partner for both Red Sea Hotels and Grand Cruises. Their hotels and Nile cruises are only available to book in the UK through Red Sea Holidays and our agents. We share the hotels and Nile cruises with international tour operators, so guests of other nationalities may be present. Private taxi transfersFor many of our hotels, we are now able to offer pre-booked taxi transfers from the airport to your hotel. Prices start from £30 for a return journey, for a maximum of 4 people per taxi (usually a standard sized saloon car). Late checkoutNormal hotel check-out times vary, but are usually no later than midday. At all Red Sea Hotels and Grand Cruises accommodation, we offer late checkout as standard, so you keep your room until it is time for your transfer to the airport. You also have full use of the hotel facilities, including All Inclusive facilities where booked. In other hotels, it may be possible to book a late checkout room for an additional charge. Please call us for details or ask your travel agent. Special requestsIf you have a special request prior to departure, such as a room on a particular floor of the hotel, we will pass this to the airline, hotel or other supplier. Provision of the special request is at the supplier's discretion, and it will not constitute a term of your contract with us. Great for adultsWe have highlighted hotels that are great for adults. There may be children in the hotel, but where indicated, it is primarily focused on the adult market, with a corresponding range of features and facilities. Family friendlyWe have also highlighted family friendly hotels that are great for families. These have been chosen based on the availability of children's facilities and entertainment, ‘child-friendliness’ of the hotel buildings, grounds and beach, and the hotel location. Kids' clubsMaxi Kinder ClubAll Red Sea Hotels offer a free hotel-run Maxi Kinder Club for 4-12 year olds, either in the hotel or in an adjacent Red Sea Hotels property. The Maxi Kinder Club offers a range of daytime play, entertainment and activities, children's pools and playgrounds. Soft drinks, lunch and snacks are included. Maxi Baby ServiceSelected Red Sea Hotels accommodation have a range of items available on loan to make holidaying with your infant easier. These range from cots and mosquito nets, to sterilisers and kettles, strollers, and even beach toys and floats. Let us know what you need when you book, or ask your travel agent. Subject to availability. Deposit required (payable locally). Other hotel kids' clubsMany of the other hotels we offer have kids' clubs. We cannot accept responsibility for or guarantee the facilities at these clubs. We therefore recommend that you meet the staff and check the facilities before enrolling your child. Cruise and StayCruise and Stay packages combine a 7 night cruise with 7 nights Red Sea hotel accommodation. Nights spent at the hotel will take place at either end of your cruise, with the breakdown of days dependent on which day you arrive in Egypt – this varies by time of year and which UK airport you fly from. Nile Cruises begin on a Monday, so, for example, if you fly into Hurghada from Manchester on a Friday you will spend 3 nights in resort, before transferring by coach to Luxor on the Monday to join the cruise. On conclusion of the cruise the following Monday, you will be transferred by coach back to your resort for the remaining 4 nights of your stay. DivingDiving is a great way to experience the Red Sea, and many hotels have diving centres nearby or on site. For your safety, we recommend that you only use dive centres with qualified instructors and an internationally recognised accreditation such as PADI or SSI. Reputable dive centres will be happy to show you details of their certification. Our partner diving centres, Aquarius Diving (Hurghada and Makadi Bay), and Sinai Divers (Sharm el Sheikh and Taba) are each certified by PADI (www.padi.com). You will require a medical certificate to dive. This can be obtained locally at a charge. Diving courses are offered subject to weather conditions, and to a minimum number of participants, so may be subject to cancellation. Our diving packages include transfers from your hotel to the diving centre, and equipment as specified. Package prices do not include lunch, local taxes and national park fees, which are payable locally. Text books will be required for any PADI course. These can be purchased locally. Certification and log book fees will also apply to any PADI course; these are payable locally. The Advanced Open Water course is only available to suitably qualified divers. Proof of prior certification will be required. Daily dives are only bookable by qualified divers. You must present an internationally recognised certification and log book. Daily dives do not include equipment. This is available to rent locally. Important: you must not dive in the 24 hours prior to travelling by air. |
