Flight tickets and check-in

Important information about the tickets for your holiday to Egypt, and check-in procedures.

Tickets

You must have a printed ticket to travel. If you do not have a printed ticket when you check in both for the flight from the UK to Egypt AND the return flight from Egypt to the UK, the airline is entitled to refuse you boarding the flight. We cannot accept responsibility in this situation, and while we will endeavour to assist you in making alternate travel arrangements, any costs or loss incurred will be your responsibility.

How and when you receive your printed ticket depends on when you book your holiday:

Bookings made more than 4 weeks from departure

Your tickets will be sent approximately 14 days prior to your holiday departure. If you have not received your tickets 14 days prior to departure, please call us on 0845 026 5980.

Bookings made 2-4 weeks from departure

Your tickets will be processed immediately and you will receive them a few days after making your booking. If you have not received your tickets 14 days prior to departure, please call us on 0845 026 5980.

Bookings made within 14 days of departure

If you have just booked a holiday that is departing within 14 days then your tickets will not be sent to you and you will need to collect them at the airport on the day of departure. Please go to the Airport Agencies desk. You will need your booking reference number and passport.

Check-in

You must check in for your flight at least 2 hours prior to departure. This is to give you enough time to check in, go through airport security, and reach your departure gate.

If you do not check in to your flight on time, the airline is entitled to refuse you boarding the flight. We cannot accept responsibility in this situation, and while we will endeavour to assist you in making alternate travel arrangements, any costs or loss incurred will be your responsibility.

If you fail to check in at all for you outward flight from the UK, we reserve the right to cancel any other elements of your holiday, and you will be unable to use your return flight to the UK. No refund can be given for any unused elements.

The check-in desk for your flight will be displayed on one of the airport screens. When you arrive at the check-in desk, please have your tickets and passport ready. You will be asked to check in your baggage. Bulky items may need to be taken to a different baggage drop off area.

Once you are checked-in, please proceed to the departure gates via airport security. You must be at your departure gate no later than 45 minutes prior to the departure time, or the airline may not allow you to travel. Passengers who are refused travel will be responsible for arranging alternative travel at their own expense.
