Restaurants, bars and nightlife in HurghadaThe variety of evening entertainment on offer in Hurghada is huge. Since the 1980s Hurghada has gone from being a tiny fishing village, to a niche destination popular with divers, to its present day status as large cosmopolitan resort. In the Old Town, downtown El Dahar, there's a choice of many different international cuisines. Sekala, near the new Marina development, is the oldest part of Hurghada where you'll find tourist shops by day, and pubs, bars and big name clubs by night: Hurghada has some of the best nightlife in the Red Sea region. For something more chilled-out, then head to the beach for barbeques and cocktail bars, and Hurghada's famous beach parties. Nearby El Gouna is just a taxi ride away and offers a sophisticated choice of bars and restaurants ranged among the yachts and power boats on its lagoon and marina. Great places to eat
