Getting to the airport

East Midlands Airport is easily accessible by bus and car, and there are shuttle bus and taxi connections to local train stations. Check-in

We recommend that you check-in at least 3 hours prior to departure to ensure sufficient time to check in, pass through security, and reach your flight gate.

Ticket on Departure

If you booked your flight within two weeks of departure, your tickets may need to be collected at the airport. The Airport Agencies Desk is currently under refurbishment, and tickets should be collected in the main check in area. Please DO NOT join the check-in queue until you have collected your ticket: you must present a valid ticket in order to check in.
